Every single basketball player I know wants to jump higher, and increase their vertical jumping ability. But what other physical benefits are a bi-product of putting in the hard work to increase your vertical jump? All that work you will be glad to know does help other areas of your body. For example the core is probably one of the most neglected aspects of any sport specific work out, and will get stronger after undertaking say a 10 week program.

In the game of basketball, explosiveness, spring, lateral movement, quad strength and timing are all very important. And they are all bi-products of training correctly. Why is this?
