I thought it was important to also note that if you do hire a professional for the logo, they should ALWAYS give you your logo in vector format – even if they give it to you in 100 other file types, you should always receive a vector file as well.

Ordinary plastic bottles made from polyethylene can be made biodegradable by including d2w technology at the manufacturing stage (see d2w.net and biodeg.org). Yes they are made from by-products of oil or natural gas, but these by-products arise because the world needs fuels, and would arise whether or not the by-products were used to make plastic goods. So, nobody is extracting or importing extra oil or gas to make plastic. Until other fuels have been developed it makes good environmental sense to use the by-products, instead of using scarce agricultural resources and water to make paper or cloth or vegetable-based plastic bags.

I have now done this Live 7 times. In Perth the end of February 2010 in 72 hours the site we created (the product came from someone else, so if you don’t have a product.. that does not matter)

I agree with you that bottled water is a convenience. Where else can you go almost anywhere on the planet and get a clean drink of water…..that you can take along with you? Sports bottles are great but what to do when you run out of water? You’ll have a choice to purchase a bottle laden with high fructose corn syrup, or a healthy bottle of water. Even if it is tap water that has been filtered it’s better than a soft drink…..which by-the-way is water with a bunch of chemicals and both beverages are packaged in the same type of PETE (1) plastic.
I think for my health sake I’d rather spend my money on the water, at least it doesn’t add to my weight problem.
