How To Make a Link In Yahoo Answers
So you want to know how to make a link in Yahoo Answers, eh?
Okay, let me guess. You just signed up and you’re on level 1 and just trying to get started with Yahoo Answers. You probably tried to make a link and it showed up as a non clickable dud of the url you wanted to link to. Am I right?
Here’s the lowdown.
Yahoo Answers is a great place for people to share information and well some people figured out that they might as well use it to make money by linking to affiliate programs or sites they own.
This worked for a while to some degree especially with people signing up just for the purpose of spamming the hell out of the q&a community.
While Yahoo tried to control this habit by letting users report spammers and then banning reported accounts, this just didn’t stop the spammers so they made a change to their linking policies.
Level 1 users or users who have a brand new Yahoo Answers account can post links but they will not be clickable until you get to level 2. When you get to level 2, any links that you add are automatically made clickable.
So, if you signed up for the purpose of spamming the community, then you might as well play by the rules until you reach level 2.
My take…why not just play by the rules and provide quality answers and relevant content that helps to add value to the community and only link where absolutely necessary? How about doing that for a while?
I think if you did that you would see much better results and you will also reduce the risk of having your account banned.
If you’re looking for traffic, there are much better ways that don’t require all that time you take manually answering questions. If you’re looking to make money, there are much better ways too…ways that don’t have to cost you even a nickel such as article marketing.

In conclusion, you cannot make a link in Yahoo Answers unless you’re on level 2, which can take a while but you can get there by adding value to the community and only linking when necessary.
