How to start in MLM can be a hard decision especially if you don’t know what your doing. I myself got started a few years back and failed miserably for 2 years. It was not until I discovered the secrets of online marketing I started to make money. Before you start in MLM you need to consider several things. First of all you need to consider if you are right for the industry. You will be working for yourself and with other entrepreneurs. You have to have a certain entrepreneurial edge to you. Being an entrepreneur is one of the greatest things about being in MLM. You can set your hours, work when you want and how you want. Apart from having the right mindset there are a ton of things you need to consider. First of all you do not want to be like the 97% of people in this industry who make no more than $10 a week. You want to be in the top 3%. You need to choose the company you want to join, you need to choose who you want to join under and you need to decide on how you are going to market the opportunity. Most people get started in MLM with the hope there is some magical robot which can automatically generate traffic, leads and signups. In order to decide on which Network Marketing company to join you need to consider a few things. What is the company selling? Is the product unique? Is there a genuine need for the product/service? Would anyone buy the product if there was no opportunity? Who owns the company, do they have a good reputation in the industry? What is the compensation plan, will it allow me to become financially free? Is the person who introduced you to the company committed to your success? How long has the company been around and will you have fun? Those are some of the important questions you should take into account before you attempt any online or offline MLM opportunity. To be honest, the 3 main things are who owns the company, does it offer an unique product and is the compensation plan going to make you rich? If the comp plan only pays out a maximum of say $1600 per month don’t waste your time. Why bother, if you are serious and in this for the long run you want more income right. A compensation plan with unlimited earning potential is always best; don’t go for a forced matrix. Go for a company that can possibly earn you at least $250k a year and has an unique product. Another thing to ask is, is there residual income? You want to build your self a nice residual income and a plan to make your first 10k with your company. You want to earn immediate cash, long term and residual pay checks.
That should at least be your first target in the industry. Maybe you ought to start smaller, maybe bigger. Now, if you want to have MLM success you need training and education. You cannot and will not make money in MLM if you don’t know anything about traffic generation or lead generation. Unless the company your looking at is offline of course.
